The Back East II was renamed 'Club 3054' in February 1990. According to the "Steppin' Out" article (see link to right):

"Back East II is now called Club 3054, which matches their address on East Washington Avenue, right off the Hwy 30 exit from I94-90. Very convenient to get to from points east and west, even for those of you who get lost easily in the Mad City's confusing street patterns. Cheri and her staff have moved to a cavernous space that has separate rooms for the main bar, big-screen TV, game room, pool room, and dance hall with its own service bar. Food will be coming soon, and Cheri is already outlining plans to carve out a basement L/L bar. You'll find a nice mixture of both men and women, and the bar opens at noon 7 days a week with lots of specials."

The basement area was soon opened as a levi/ leather bar called 'Wings' which according to some eventually caused Cheri to lose her bar license (see Recollections below).

Recollections: The following are recollections of others who have been kind enough to submit their personal memories to the webmaster. You are welcome to do the same!

"Yea, Club 3054 was the perfume filled dance club you had to walk through to get to Wings, the leather bar in the basement. It was the fun that took place in that bar that cost her her license."

    David Allen

"Will never forget that basement bar! Oh my! You were handed a plastic bag for your clothes if you wanted to indulge. It was basically rooms for sex out in the open. Was shut down a couple of times and then finally permanently if I remember. Anything went down there! "

    Thomas Hart
