The Loft was the north's largest women's bar, in Green Bay. It was owned by Robin Eich and Mickey Baumann. It held its 3rd anniversary in business on August 9, 1985 (In Step vol. 2-16)

Beginning in mid-1989, the bar began to be listed in the Bar Guide of 'In Step' as "MJR's Loft (Wm, DJ)" (code indicating mostly women, some men, and disc jockey/dancing). The name change wasn't popular with patrons, as advertisements and mentions in the Events calendar continued to refer to the bar as simply 'The Loft'.

The bar closed in July 1991 (In Step vol. 8-13).

More information about this business is welcome from anyone who can contribute same.
