Mister Z's (Mr "Z") opened about December 1975, the third location to be housed in this location in less than 18 months. (The location has first held a bar called The Gallery Lounge from late-1974 to early 1975, and then a disco dance bar, Gary's Dance Club, from mid-late 1975.)

By early-1976 this location would re-open as Club Circus, which morphed into Circus-Circus, and eventually became Club 219; a succession of popular and successful disco and dance clubs.
