The Broadway Health Club was a gay "bath house", the type of establishment widely accepted as being a place for consenting men to find anonymous sex. The Broadway Health Club was located upstairs from the then-wildly popular and legendary dance bar, The Factory. But as with other bath houses, it attracted the attention of the Milwaukee Police Department, which conducted numerous raids on the facility. |
