The Georgian Guest House was first advertised in 'In Step' vol 1-issue 10 and in the Classifieds in vol 1-11 (June 1984). Advertisements outlined its features as being a European Style Mansion 'bed and breakfast', with 10 large guest rooms, day and weekly rates, 1 block from the beach on Lake Geneva. Ads talso mentioned "Featuring Christopher Tea Room, A 'Gay' 90's Pub".

In spring 1985, after a renovation, the business also began advertising Christophers Bar, 'for country gentlemen', as having opened in a newly-built extension to the Guest House.

The business was short-lived however. The 'Steppin Out' column in 'In Step' vol. 2-issue 19 (October 1985) reads: "Christophers & The Georgian Guest House in Lake Geneva has closed for the seson, nearly a month earlier than usual. Chris tells me he was 'very disappointed' with the lack of business this sumer, especially after he had invested $45,000 in additions and remodeling this spring. Most likely he won't open next year." No ads or mention of the business are found after this.

More information about this business is welcomed from anyone who can contribute it.
