PrideFest 2002 was held during the traditional Pride observance month of June. The festival continued to expand that year, with national performers and increased attendance: to 18,604 over the 2002 festival's 3 days.

The Pride Parade in 2002 continued to be run by PrideFest, but was returned to Sunday afternoon (after running on Friday evening the previous 2 years). (View photos of the 2002 parade here.)

The Dance Pavilion during these years was being operated by Tony Aiello for Club 219. (View photos of the Dance Pavilion circa 2002-2003 here.)
