Charles Dix created contemporary artwork as a commercial artist for over 40 years. He created art both free style, and on commission. Charles' work is grouped into 8 or 10 themes, representing major periods of creativity centering around a particular type or style of art. Commission artwork was created to fit a particular setting or settings, often creating several works, major and complimentary, for a single home or office.

Charles Dix passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 of a heart attack at a Tucson, Arizona medical clinic. Dix was 65 years old.

Charles' original oil paintings, acrylics and watercolors on canvas are available in a wide range of sizes and prices. Some of Charles' paintings have been reproduced as prints, and to grace mugs and postcards, putting his art work within reach of everyone.
