The History Display at PrideFest 2012 featured new panels commemorating two important anniversaries: the 25th Milwaukee PrideFest celebration, and the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Gay Rights Act, the first in the nation.

The display also featured the Interactive Timeline: a decade by decade, year-by-year timeline of major events in the LGBT history of Milwaukee and Wisconsin, juxtaposed with some major national events. As with the first Timeline display in 2005, people were able to read existing entries, but also add their own recollections and comments in given year blocks.

The 2012 LGBT History display was produced by: Don Schwamb, Michael Doylen, Paul Williams, and Jerry Johnson.
