The History Display at PrideFest 2014 featured new panels commemorating the Brady East STD (BESTD) Clinic's 40th year of operation.

This year's exhbit was somewhat scaled down due to constraints on several volunteers' time. Most notably, the ever-popular Timeline was not displayed in 2014 due to its increasing size.

However the display did include many panels from previous years: most notably, photo panels exhibiting some of the thousands of photographs from 15 years of Wisconsin Light newspaper, as compiled by Jerry Johnson, one of the owners of that Milwaukee-based LGBT newspaper, which was published from 1987 to 2001. Also featured were the panels commemorating two important anniversaries in 2012: the 25th Milwaukee PrideFest celebration, and the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Gay Rights Act.

Supplementing these "event" panels were over a dozen panels outlining the biographies of just a few notable members of the LGBT community's earlier years.

The 2014 LGBT History display was again produced by: Don Schwamb, Michael Doylen, and Jerry Johnson.

Photos of the display from 2014 will be posted shortly after the event. (The below are from 2012)
