Godfrey's 1800 Club is listed in select national Gay Bar Guides from 1965 to 1969, as a "mostly coloured" (aka black/ African American), mixed bar.

(The bar is conspicuously missing from any Bob Damron guides during the period however. Did Bob Damron Guides exclude 'coloured' bars, or did its Milwaukee sources not report it?) No local documentation is known.

More information about this business is welcomed from anyone who can contribute it.
