EVENTS IN THE HISTORY OF THE LGBTQ COMMUNITY IN WISCONSIN

This section explores various events that have either been organized by members of the LGBTQ community, or impacted that community in some meaningful way.

Events may include ‘Regular’ events such as annual and other scheduled occurrences such as leather titles, pageants, pride celebrations, sporting events, etc. Special, Historic and Landmark events will largely be major news stories, everything from the good ( such as rallies, laws and ordinances, etc. ), to the bad ( such as police harassment events, murders etc. )

Note: Events connected to particular persons, organizations, businesses, etc. may be included both here and cross-referenced to mentions in those related sections.

We need your help!

All of our efforts take people to research, to collect, to remember and document those memories. If you are willing to help in any way, let us know!
